Hangar Academy LLC ('we', 'us', or 'our') operates hangaracademy.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases on Hangar Academy. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@hangaracademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars. By completing a purchase, you authorize Hangar Academy to charge your payment method for the amount displayed at checkout. Subscription billing recurs monthly until cancelled.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our content, all sales are final once access has been granted. No refunds will be issued for one-time course purchases. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@hangaracademy.com and we will review your case.

7. The Toolbox

The Toolbox technical reference library is provided free of charge and requires no account or subscription. All Toolbox content is publicly accessible at no cost.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content on Hangar Academy — including lessons, study material, graphics, course structure, and platform code — is the intellectual property of Hangar Academy LLC and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without express written permission.

9. FCC and FAA Question Pools

FCC commercial operator examination question pools are published by the Federal Communications Commission and are in the public domain. FAA knowledge test question pools are published by the Federal Aviation Administration and are in the public domain. Hangar Academy's original explanations, lesson content, and organization of these questions are proprietary.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Hangar Academy is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will result from use of the platform, including passing any licensing examination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hangar Academy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Affiliation Disclaimer

Hangar Academy is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Aviation Administration, or any other licensing or regulatory authority.

13. Affiliate Links

Some course pages contain affiliate links to products on Amazon and other retailers. If you purchase through these links, Hangar Academy may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we believe are genuinely useful.

14. Modifications to Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
