Questions
Do I need the MROP first?
No. The GROL includes Element 1. If you already hold an MROP, Element 1 carries over and you only take Element 3, and the course has an Element 3 mock exam for exactly that.
How much math is on Element 3?
A fair amount, but it's the same handful of formulas used over and over, like Ohm's law, power, reactance, time constants and decibels. The chapters walk through worked examples, and the free Toolbox has calculators to check your answers.
How is the mock exam scored?
Like the real one. Element 1 and Element 3 are graded separately, and you need 75% on each. After each mock you get a list of the chapters to review.
